RESTON, Va. – August 11, 2011 –App47, an innovative provider of Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions, today announced that the company has named Jim Casey director of marketing and Danny White director of sales.

Recognizing that the mobile user experience is not about the device but the applications, App47 provides the only enterprise-grade tools to effectively and efficiently manage the complete mobile application lifecycle—delivered how enterprises need it: in the cloud.

As director of marketing, Casey will develop App47’s go-to-market strategy and lead business development, brand awareness, demand generation and sales and channel enablement initiatives.
Casey is a 10-year IT marketing and sales veteran with deep experience in product marketing, business development, and alliance management in the enterprise software, professional services, and telecommunications markets. He has developed and managed marketing programs and complex projects for businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations. Previously, he served as the senior manager of product marketing at Neustar, Inc., in Sterling, Va., developing and managing lead generation and customer marketing programs. Casey was an integral player on the team that took RealOps from a product concept to successful acquisition by BMC Software. After the acquisition, he continued on at BMC as the solutions marketing manager, where he was responsible for field marketing and sales enablement for their global sales team and channel partners. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University.
In his role as director of sales, White will lead sales activities and campaigns, establish strategic business relationships and manage a growing App47 sales team. Previously, White was a senior sales manager at Avectra, Inc., in McLean, Va., generating and closing six-figure sales of Avectra’s CRM software for the enterprise. He also served as a Mid-Atlantic regional healthcare account executive at ePlus, Inc., in Herndon, Va., where he was responsible for outside sales and developed and maintained business relationships with hospital executives. White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania.
