Chris Schroeder
Co-Founder/CEO
Chris Schroeder is a seasoned entrepreneur who has worked at UUNet providing the management systems for the World Wide Network Operations Center. After leaving UUNet, he successfully built and ran several startups with the most recent, RealOps, being sold to BMC Software in 2007 at 20x revenue. RealOps was a Run Book Automation product in Enterprise Management space. Chris was directly responsible for all Engineering, Q&A and customer support. With App47, he is applying over 25 years of product development experience in Enterprise Management to the fast moving domain of Enterprise Mobile App Management.
Andrew Glover
CTO
Andrew Glover is an established expert in software development processes, techniques, and tools. He has spent his career working with companies large and small in various vertical markets such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Telecommunications, and ISVs; what’s more, he is the founder of multiple open source projects including 2009‘s Jolt Award winner easyb. He is the co-author of Addison-Wesley’s 2008 Jolt Award winner “Continuous Integration: Improving Software Quality and Reducing Risk”, Wiley’s “Java Testing Patterns”, and Manning’s “Groovy in Action”, as well as a frequent author for multiple online publications. Andrew is also a regular speaker at worldwide conferences on topics such as collaborative development, Continuous Integration, Behavior Driven Development, software assurance, and Agile engineering practices.
Jim Casey
Director of Marketing
Jim Casey is a 10-year IT marketing and sales veteran with deep experience in product marketing, business development, and alliance management. Previously, he served as the senior manager of product marketing at Neustar, Inc., in Sterling, Va., developing and managing sales enablement, lead generation and customer marketing programs. Casey was an integral player on the team that took RealOps from a product concept to successful acquisition by BMC Software in 2007. After the acquisition, he continued on at BMC as the solutions marketing manager, where he was responsible for field marketing and sales enablement for their global sales team and channel partners.
Danny White
Director of Sales
Danny White will lead sales activities, establish strategic business relationships and manage a growing App47 sales team. Previously, White was a senior sales manager at Avectra, Inc., in McLean, Va., generating and closing six-figure sales of Avectra’s CRM software for the enterprise. He also served as a Mid-Atlantic regional healthcare account executive at ePlus, Inc., in Herndon, Va., where he was responsible for outside sales and developed and maintained business relationships with hospital executives. White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania.
Sean McDermott
Co-Founder/Chairman
Sean McDermott is a successful serial entrepreneur and has spent over 20 years helping hundreds of global clients better manage their IT environments with proven enterprise management solutions and strategic consulting. As Chairman and Founder of Windward IT Solutions, he sets and manages the overall direction of the company, including service offerings, strategic partnerships, and overall company performance. Sean was the Founder and CEO of RealOps, the pioneer in enterprise management Run Book Automation solutions. After BMC Software acquired RealOps in July 2007, Sean continued on at BMC as the VP of Service Automation Solutions where he was responsible for the global rollout of BMC’s Run Book Automation and configuration management portfolio. In the past, he has also held senior positions with Predictive Systems and Booz Allen Hamilton. Sean is active in the community and charities, and has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and a master’s degree in engineering from The Catholic University of America.
